Fruity acai smoothie bowl

Bluberries, bananas, fresh spinach and a dash of acai powder ... This smoothie bowl is truly a blast of vitamins!

Did you know acai berries are loaded with antioxidants, which neutralize the damaging effects of free radicals throughout the body? They also have some other impressive health benefits: they may improve cholesterol levels, boost brain functions and have a possible anti-cancer effect. Wow! That's why adding acai powder to your morning smoothie bowl is not a bad idea at all!

We made a fairly simple smoothie bowl anyone can make - so make sure you try it, too! And, of course, we added a bit of kombucha - to make this smoothie bowl a living one with numerous benefits for your gut, too.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cup blueberries, fresh or frozen

  • 1 bunch of spinach

  • ½ banana, frozen

  • ½ cup Fruits  &Roots kombucha

  • 1 tsp acai powder 

  • 1 tsp agave syrup (or to taste)

Directions

Blend all ingredients until smooth consistency.

Pour the smoothie into your favorite bowl and top with toppings by choice.
