Green tahini dressing

Let's face it - you mainly use tahini in your homemade hummus recipes. Right?
But there's so much more ways to use it! Tahini is widely used in many dishes and national cuisines, particularly in Mediterranean and Asian.

Tahini is highly nutritious, a great source of phosphorus and manganese, both of which play vital roles in bone health. Although tahini is a fatty dish, about 50% of the fat in tahini comes from monounsaturated fatty acids. Tahini is rich in antioxidants and it may have several other important health benefits, such as anti-inflammatory properties.

And it's really easy to use it in your everyday cousine - just add a teaspoon in your salad dressing! Or make a salad dressing that is based on tahini - as we did. Naturally, we added some kombucha to make it good for your gut and some lemon, parsley and cilantro for your daily dose of freshness. 


Prep time: 10 mins


  • ½ cup tahini

  • ½ cup Hoppy hour kombucha

  • 3 tbsp lemon juice

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 small bunch fresh parsley, roughly chopped

  • 1 small bunch fresh cilantro, roughly chopped


Blend all of the ingredients (except herbs) in a blender until smooth.

Add herbs at the end, to get a green dressing.

Store it in a sealed glass jar in your fridge for up to 3 days.
